The Words of Mouth project is here!

Innovative and inspiring, the Words of Mouth Project is allowing us to commission three of the company’s talented creatives, who have excited and engaged audiences with their performances, to take their skills further by now writing for the company.

Drawing on their own experience of and their personal responses to the company’s plays and workshops, Lateshia Howell, Joel Nash and Lloyd Thomas are now busily creating their own performance pieces, exploring themes and characters through drama, music and poetry.

Their relationship with the company is long-standing and varied: Lateshia has presented poetry workshops, performed in The Passenger and The Hate Play, and has played both Juliet and Lady Macbeth; Joel has appeared in The Passenger, Getting There, An Inspector Calls, Sweet, Romeo and Juliet and A Christmas Carol, while Lloyd, who joined the company in 2005, has travelled to the Edinburgh Festival with Time for the Good Looking Boy as well as performing in Sixteen Up, The Hate Play, The Passenger, and The Merchant of Venice at The Supreme Court in London.
