In an interesting extension to our work  with young people, we were approached by Wigan Council to produce a  piece of street theatre that promoted road safety to older citizens.

We attracted quite a lot of attention,  and nearly 1,000 people watched the performances by Matthew Rutherford  and Liv Spencer. The project used the music of Wigan’s most famous son,  George Formby, complete with ukulele to promote the series of road  safety messages to older citizens. See the images from the project here.
