Kitt Green Project

September 2015

In partnership with the Road Safety department of Wigan Council, Box Clever delivered a set of performance workshops to KS2 in the Kitt Green area of Wigan. The workshops, which culminated in a gathering at the DW Stadium, aimed to teach juniors about the importance of road safety and sustainable travel. Six schools in the area took part, alongside year 9 students from St John Fisher School who will brought to the project their own ideas and knowledge of road safety.

In the course of the performance and the follow up workshops, children learned and experienced valuable information about road safety, which they will be able to use on their way to and from school. Box Clever will also created a short road safety animation, with the help of the schools involved in the project.
