With only eight more performances of our sixteen-week national Shakespeare tour to go, we are already looking to the future to the 2019-2020 season with the call out for auditions starting on May 20th. It’s an exciting time for the company with a packed programme of productions taking to the road in the coming months and the phones already ringing with bookings. Romeo and Juliet and Macbeth will return to support students’ studies and are joined this autumn by our acclaimed production of A Christmas Carol. Road safety messages will be reinforced by The Passenger for Year 11 and younger pupils will be encouraged to find ways to recognise and deal with the menace of bullying through their engagement with Mark and the Marked. Finally, Sweet, the sequel to The Hate Play will also now be joining our repertoire having premiered in rehearsed readings earlier this year.
