Box Clever Theatre has long been established as a company that is innovative in its interpretation and presentation of issues that affect young people.
In a recent workshop at The Archer Academy in North London, the company led three, hour-long workshops exploring body image. Working with Year 8 students, a team of three actors from the company delivered a workshop that explored self-esteem and body image, particularly discussing the causes and consequences of self-harming and eating disorders.
Emma Neagle, Head of Year Eight, The Archer Academy said:
“Yesterday was fantastic! Thank you so much for the recommendation. Would definitely be keen to work with the company again in the future; the students really seemed to get a lot out of it. I think it’s always good to have people from outside to deliver content like that… it tends to be more memorable.”
