Day one of Box Clever in Scotland and we are setting up at the beautiful Wynd Theatre in the Borders town of Melrose. The director, Iqbal Khan has broken off rehearsals for his West End production of Broken Glass to join the Clever crew here in Scotland. He joins Itai Erdal, the lighting designer who arrived from Canada yesterday to complete the full complement of the team that will hit the Pleasance on the Edinburgh Fringe next week. We are expecting a good house tonight for the first preview. It looks like we could be sold out! Word is getting out.
