On Monday, the excitement builds for the students of the four schools who have been part of the first stage of The London Project as they meet in City Hall, London, for The Gathering. After The Hate Play itself had toured to nineteen schools in the capital, Ernest Bevin College, Langdon Academy, Featherstone High School and Walthamstow School for Girls were invited to collaborate to write the sequel which will be produced in autumn 2019. The ideas on character, language and plot which have been developed independently in each school in follow-up workshops will now be shared and the new play will begin to take shape.
