We have started working with the Sixth Sense Theatre Company from Swindon on co-producing Romeo and Juliet for a national tour in the Spring of 2012. We are very pleased to announce that Ria Parry will be directing with rehearsals getting underway on January 9th in London. Ria is fresh from Edinburgh with a Fringe First in hand and is currently working as Staff Director at the National Theatre. Ria’s particular style of directing lends itself extremely well to the Box Clever style of writing and production. We are all very excited about the production as we are about working with the great team from Sixth Sense Theatre Company. Whilst Box Clever were up in Edinburgh, a party of young people from the Sixth Sense Youth Theatre came to see a performance of TIME FOR THE GOOD LOOKING BOY. Myself and Lloyd lead a post show discussion with the Youth Theatre group and very much appreciated their feedback. We hope to give you more details of auditions for Romeo and Juliet and more information about the new set design during the forthcoming weeks.
