Rehearsals for A Christmas Carol, under the expert direction of Iqbal Khan, culminated last Saturday in a very successful dress show in London in front of an invited audience of Friends, Trustees and members of the Box Clever creative company. Cory Stuckey, Matthew Rutherford and Zelina Rubeiro, ably supported by our production manager Pip Thurlow, then took to the road, performing in schools in Surrey, Essex, Hertfordshire and Suffolk.

After a well-earned rest over half term, Emma Butcher, Riad Ritchie and Natasha Culley brought The Passenger, our powerful and engaging road safety play for upper KS4/KS5 students, to Sussex for the start of four week tour of secondary schools in the county.

Finally, and perhaps most excitingly for us, last week saw the start of The Frankenstein Project. Michael Wicherek, David Ajao and Aryana Ramkhalawon began the process of adapting Mary Shelley’s novel for the stage with the help of students  in Wigan and St Helens.
