We are excited to announce our creative team for 2019/20


Aryana Ramkhalawon



After graduating from the Guildford School of Acting with a BA (Hons), Aryana has pursued a very active and lively career which has taken her the length and breadth of the country and abroad in a variety of roles. She has performed on an International tour of The Secret Garden with the Edinburgh Festival Theatre and at Wales Millennium Centre in Half ‘n’ Half with Tinderbox Theatre. Aryana has also played a variety of parts for Chester Repertory Theatre including Margaret in Much Ado About Nothing and Miranda in The Tempest before returning to London as Ayesha in The Funeral Director at Southwark Theatre.

Aryana will be taking part in Bespoke Workshops


Charlotte Chimuanya



Charlotte is delighted to be joining the Box Clever team. She has trained with National Youth Theatre on the Epic Stages course and continued her training with a scholarship to study in America on the Shakespeare Academy REP course, where she played Antonio in The Tempest and Mariana in Measure for Measure.

She has since performed with a number of renowned theatre companies including National Youth Theatre (Imaam Imraan/Twelfth Night), Tamasha (Hear Me Now), and The PappyShow (Wait Til The End). After completing a degree in Fashion Communications BA (Hons), she returned to acting and has recently written a play which will be showing during London’s VAULT festival 2020.

Cory Stuckey



Since Cory’s graduation from Mountview Academy of Theatre Arts, his career has involved scratch nights for new writing, short films and touring theatre with the recent addition of a Matthew Vaughn/MARV Productions and 20th Century Fox feature film. As well as a returning Box Clever favourite, playing parts as diverse as Romeo, Macbeth, and Scrooge as well as Gary in The Passenger,

Cory has also performed with Analogue Theatre Company, Fine Mess Theatre and Hurricane Theatre. He will be seen in The King’s Man when it is released on Valentine’s Day 2020.

Darrel Bailey



Born and raised in Birmingham, Darrel studied Theatre and Professional Practice at Coventry University before moving to London to train at Mountview Academy of Theatre Arts. He has been a part of many varying productions including an open-air tour of London as Angelo in The Comedy of Errors for Principal Theatre.  A passionate Shakespeare enthusiast, Darrel has also played the title roles in Othello and Macbeth, Claudio in Much Ado about Nothing and Mercutio in Romeo & Juliet, all for the Young Shakespeare Company.  Darrel is one of our most experienced and talented workshop facilitators whom we are delighted to welcome back.

Emma Butcher


Emma Butcher Actor


Emma trained at Bristol Old Vic Theatre School and since graduating, she has played a wide variety of roles, from Lady Macbeth to a Pantomime Dame and every female role in A Midsummer Night’s Dream (and some of the male ones as well!) She has toured in Germany and Northern Ireland, as well as most of England and says she “just can’t get enough of the open road”. Emma has been involved in many previous Box Clever projects and is pleased to be able to continue to bring lively theatre to young people up and down the country with Car Story.

Emma will be leading and taking part in Bespoke Workshops


Jack Blakey



Jack Blakey is very excited to be joining Box Clever for his professional debut. He is a recently graduated Actor Musician from Rose Bruford College, where he appeared as Medviedenko in The Seagull, and was Musical Director of the musical Island Song in his final year.

Jack will be appearing in Mark and the Marked


Joel Nash



Joel is excited to be making his professional debut with Box Clever. He recently graduated from the Actor Musicianship course at Rose Bruford College. Credits while in training include, John Hinckley Jr. (Assassins) Harry (Wondertown) Roman (Children of the Sun) Lewis/Leon/Danny (Escapists) Ferdinand (The Tempest), Kozanka, (The Plebeians Rehearse the Uprising) and Vershinin (Three Sisters)

As well as acting, Joel is an avid musician and writer who works as an Associate Artist for The Bohemians Theatre Company. The company recently staged a production of Pardoned at The Other Palace which Joel co-wrote and directed.

Joel will be appearing in Getting There, Sweet, A Christmas Carol and Romeo & Juliet


Jodan Lee Moxon

Jodan graduated Mountview from the BA Actor Musicianship course in the summer of 2019. Theatre in training includes: Pericles in Pericles, Prince of Tyre, Dad in Our House The Madness Musical, Eliza Seeps in Dead Dog in a Suitcase, Lysander and Flute in A Midsummer Night’s Dream, Balloo the Bear in The Jungle Book, Marcellus in The Music Man and Stan Mann in Roots. Jodan is very excited to work on the production of Mark and Marked because his own love of acting began at school and if he can pass on this passion to any students, he says he will have “done his job”.

Lucy Wordsworth

Lucy is an alumnus of the Acting and Stage Combat course at East 15 Acting School, and is a versatile and highly physical performer. Since graduating in 2018, she has worked on various projects in Theatre, Short Films, and as a fight performer in Music Videos for artists including Swim Deep and Carnage. Lucy has recently worked with Boost Drinks on their “Choose Now” campaign, and has just finished reprising her roles as “Lady Penelope” and “Maid Nora” with Shoddy Theatre for “The New Normal Festival”. Lucy is over the moon to be working with Box Clever.

Kimberley Sykes



Kimberley graduated with a BA Hons in Theatre Directing from Rose Bruford College after which she trained on the National Theatre Studio Directors Course since which she has been in much demand for her directorial skills. Early productions for Southwark Play House and Tricycle Theatre led her to the RSC as Resident Assistant Director on Much Ado About Nothing. From there she worked with The Young Vic, the National Theatre and Donmar Warehouse, before returning to the RSC as Associate Director on A Midsummer Night’s Dream and Director on Dido, Queen of Carthage.

Kitty Winter


Kitty Winter Director


Kitty is a director, choreographer and movement director. She trained at Laban and on the movement MA at the Royal Central School of Speech and Drama. Her recent work has included productions for Derby Theatre, Nottingham Playhouse, Pentabus, New Perspectives, Tamasha and Kali Theatre, comedy and cabaret shows at the Edinburgh Fringe, and The Kite Runner in the West End and on national tour. For her own company WinterWalker, Kitty has recently directed and produced The Nutcracker and the Mouse King (Watermans Arts Centre/ Déda/Lincoln Drill Hall) and Three Keepers (UK tour).

Kitty will be co-directing Mark and the Marked


Lidia Crisafulli



Lidia is a London based freelance photographer.

Born in Catania in 1991, she discovered photography at the age of fourteen, when she began to express herself through the lenses of her first camera, a simple reflex. After secondary school, she moved to Milan to join the Istituto Italiano di Fotografia. Here she had an opportunity to deepen her knowledge of photography. Then, inspired by a passion for theatre, she entered the world of show business (naturally, behind the lens) at the Accademia Teatroalla Scala in Milan, photographing actors, musicians, shows and concerts. Lidia collaborates with many magazines, agencies and theatre companies.  Website: http://www.lidiacrisafulli.com

Marc Zayat



Marc’s training included a two-year Musical Theatre course at the BRIT School for Performing Arts followed by a Post Graduate Acting Degree at the Arts Educational School in London. He is a highly creative individual with a love of Shakespeare who also enjoys exploring contemporary texts along with working in both stage and screen. Marc is also Co-Founder and Executive Director of Ethereal Theatre Company which performs regularly at the Edinburgh Festival.

Miles Jovian 



Miles’ passion for the stage developed at a very early age: as a child he joined theatre groups such as Stage Coach and found that his inspiration to achieve came from watching and being involved in theatre and performances. As well as this Miles is a gigging musician who has performed across many parts of the UK in various pubs, clubs and venues. In 2014 he accepted his place at East15 Drama School in London to pursue his acting career, graduating with a 1st in BA Acting and Contemporary theatre in June 2017. Since graduating Miles has completed his 3rd feature before joining Box Clever on their exciting Shakespeare tour.

Nathaniel McCloskey



Nathaniel is a recent graduate from the Rose Bruford College BA Acting course, where he began training in 2015. Roles while training include Caliban in The Tempest and Nazar in Children of the Sun. He is thrilled to be joining Box Clever in his professional debut on a national and London tour to schools and venues. With a black belt 2nd Dan in karate, and a love of stage combat, armed and unarmed, Nathaniel looks forward to bringing every aspect of his training to these shows.

Reece Evans




Reece is a recent graduate from the Guildford School of Acting. His credits whilst training include: Duke Orsino in ‘Twelfth Night’ (Sam Wanamaker Festival, The Globe), The Soldier in Andorra (GSA), Marko in 3 Winters (GSA) and Alfred Frankland in Not a Game for Girls (GSA). He is very excited to begin his professional debut with Box Clever.

Rhian Lynch


Rhian Lynch


Rhian is delighted to be joining Box Clever for her professional debut. Rhian trained at Mountview Academy of Theatre Arts and since graduating her credits include; Carol in 42 Balloons (The Other Palace); Wendla in Spring Awakening (Transfer Productions), Ensemble in Vibez (BEAM Festival), Choir in Michael Ball and Alfie Boy: Together Again (Live Nation), Choir in Magic at the Musicals (Royal Albert Hall).

Rhian will be appearing in A Christmas Carol and Romeo and Juliet


Robert Wolfe


Robert Wolfe


Robert trained at the Royal Birmingham Conservatoire, formerly Birmingham School of Acting. Whilst training, Robert has played roles such as, Mike in West by Steven Berkoff, Sebastian in Shakespeare’s Twelfth Night, and Aleksandar King in Three Winters by Tena Štivičić.
Robert has extensively trained in combat, both for stage and screen, amassing a total of four BASSC approved Stage combat qualifications, as well as taking courses in fighting for screen, all passing with distinction. His final show at The Royal Birmingham Conservatoire was a devised physical theatre piece, The Terror, which toured to Serbia in May 2019. Also, whilst training, Robert was chosen by an industry professional, as well as an internal panel, to represent his drama school at the annual Sam Wanamaker Festival 2019, with his rendition of A King and No King by Beaumont and Fletcher.

Roddy Lynch


Roddy Lynch


Roddy has recently completed his training at Rose Bruford College on the ground-breaking BA (Hons) Actor Musicianship course. Working with Box Clever Theatre is his first professional job out of drama school. Hailing from Birmingham, Roddy’s performance credits have ranged from roles in political satires such as Diary of a Scoundrel by Alexander Ostrovsky, to musicals such as City of Angels. He is also a keen writer and director with his play Shut Up, and Drive! debuting at Rose Bruford’s symposium festival last year and it was also performed at the Stockwell Playhouse as part of their annual One Act Festival.

Sorcha Corcoran



Sorcha has worked nationally and internationally as set, costume and events designer. Her skills and experience cover many different areas including opera, fringe theatre, musicals, installations and live events. Recent credits include Gutted (The Marlowe Theatre) Strangers on a Train, The Odd Couple, The Deep Blue Sea (Frinton Summer Theatre) Edward II (The Greenwich Theatre), The Merchant of Venice (Leicester Square Theatre), Idomeneo, L’Orfeo, Rigoletto (Opéra de Baugé), Sorry (Kings Head Theatre, Edinburgh Fringe 2018)

Sorcha is passionate about finding the individuality, originality, and character of each new project. She aims to work collaboratively and thus inspire the most evocative design in the context of the piece.

Sorcha will be working as Costume Designer on The Passenger, The Hate Play, The Merchant, Mark and the Marked, Romeo & Juliet and Macbeth


Tara Ahmed


Tara Ahmed


After completing a foundation course at Rose Bruford, Tara became a member of the National Youth Theatre, where she has found the opportunity to create and practise with like-minded people. Currently studying at the London Meisner company, she enjoys taking part in various improvisation and physical theatre workshops. She has recently delved into the world of directing by taking a new piece of writing to the Edinburgh Fringe festival as Assistant Director on Anything with a Pulse by Eliana Ostro. Originally from France, Tara likes to integrate her multicultural background into her art to give a platform for untold stories.

Zelina Rebeiro



Having graduated from the Oxford School of Drama in 2013, Zelina has shown her versatility in a number of roles from Margaret in Muscovado (Burnt Out Theatre) to Bianca in Othello (Time Zone Theatre). She has been part of the Liverpool Everyman Rep Company for the last two years appearing in Fiddler on The Roof, Paint Your Wagon, and Romeo & Juliet among other productions. Last year Zelina returned to Oxfordshire for the Christmas season to star as Jasmine in John Terry’s production of Aladdin at Chipping Norton Theatre. She says that the most valuable lessons she has learnt as an actor have been those you learn as a human: just to be as kind, as truthful and as open as you can be.
