CASTING

Box Clever are looking to add to our company of talented actors/musicians for our 2015-16 touring season. We welcome applications from trained ACTORS and ACTORS/MUSICIANS interested in any of the projects as described below.

The BOX CLEVER style demands actors are physically fit, vocally strong, committed and conscientious. Accredited training, ability to drive and experience of touring and workshops is desirable. An interest in new writing and working with young people is essential.

Our main projects are:

The Hate Play

In rehearsal & on tour: September – October 2015
Our original issue-based play and workshop about bullying and hate crime. We will be touring to secondary schools mainly in London and performing to 14-16 year old students on a daily basis.

The Passenger

In rehearsal & on tour: September – December 2015
Our new road safety play for new drivers and their passengers. This will be touring secondary schools around the UK.

A Christmas Carol

In rehearsal & on tour: October – December 2015
We will be touring nationally, to theatres and to secondary schools.

BASIC TERMS & CONDITIONS

Rehearsal and Tour wages will be based on the ITC/Equity minimum weekly rate of £440. Accommodation and a nightly allowance will be paid by the Company when rehearsing or touring outside the Greater London area only.
