A beautiful, atmospheric, rehearsed reading of a classic tale.  Box Clever brought the page to life, taking the audience on a journey through the eyes of the writer as she explored her characters and their relationships.  The teenage audience were literally spellbound.  All credit to the cast who were captivating.

The Frankenstein Project reached its climax last week when the 145 students who had taken part in the script workshops were able to experience the finished text for the first time. With an appropriately Gothic atmosphere created by the sound and music wizardry of Enrico Aurigemma, and the characters of author, Mary Shelley, and her creations, Victor Frankenstein, and the Creature, vividly realised by actors Jessica Dennis, Cameron Johnson and Alan Magor, the novel took to the stage in Louth, St Helens and Margate before excited and enthusiastic audiences.

Having passed with flying colours this most rigorous of critical tests in front of its teenage audiences, the play will now join A Christmas Carol in the company’s repertoire for the autumn season.

We would like to thank all the schools who been such committed and highly motivated partners and who have contributed so much throughout the project:
